Gilles Casavant is an accomplished rider and devoted life-long horse owner. Gilles grew up with horses, and followed his love of riding into competition. He is a former member of the Canadian Equestrian Team, and has competed in both the hunter ring and on the Grand Prix circuit in the U.S. and Canada, winning many championships in both. Gilles and his horse Lionel hold the Canadian puissance record at 7′ 5 ½”. Devotion to the sport of riding, and to the next generation of champions attracted Gilles to serve as a trainer for both Junior and amateur riders, before founding Triangle Horse Sports in Raleigh, NC. From 1994 – 2011, Gilles used his extensive expertise to assist THS customers to think, look, and ride like champions.

Gilles has become a license insurance agent with Star H, and can help you with your horse insurance needs.
