COVERAGE SUMMARY
FOR
LIVESTOCK TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE

This coverage is designed for Farmers/Ranchers operating with a gooseneck trailer and for companies that haul livestock commercially. It is sometimes referred to as Cargo Insurance.  It will provide coverage with a limit per head of up to $7,500 with a maximum limit per vehicle.  A per claim deductible of $1,000 applies.  A claim payment is based on the current market value of the livestock or the limit per head shown on the policy, whichever is less. The coverage ceases when the animal is unloaded at the final destination.

The policy provides coverage for DEATH of an insured animal(s) resulting from the following causes of loss:

1. Fire, Lightning
2. Explosion
3. Smoke
4. Windstorm or hail
5. Collapse of bridges, trestles, roadways, docks, piers, wharves or bulkheads.
6. Stranding, sinking or collision of a waterborne vessel while transporting a vehicle hauling covered livestock.
7. Upset or overturn of the transporting vehicle
8. Collision of the transporting vehicle
9. Riot or Civil Commotion
10. Vandalism
11. Earth movement
12. Flood
13. Theft of the entire load of covered livestock.
14. Humane destruction necessitated by one of the above covered causes of loss.
15. Recovery expense for covered livestock that have escaped or strayed.
16. Freight charges which you are unable to collect due to loss of livestock from a covered cause of loss.
